WHRPC honoured Human Rights & Social Activist Dibyajyoti Saikia

The Indian chapter of the World Human Rights Protection Commission (WHRPC) has honoured Human Rights & Social Activist Dr Dibyajyoti Saikia, the doctorate of Human Rights as well as the honorary International membership in the organization. It is to be noted that, earlier, the California University awarded Dr Saikia the Doctorate Degree on Humanity for his remarkable service towards mankind.

This award has been offered to Saikia for his continuous efforts from the last two decades towards peace, humanity and human rights. The programme was held in the India International Centre in Delhi where many noted personalities as H E Austin Fernando, the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka, Richardo Verna, the Deputy Chief of Panama, Mississippi, Mathapelo, High Commissioner of South Africa were present.

Dr Saikia has also received the ‘Global Peace award, 2020’ from Global Peace Council, London, UK. He has received many other international awards and over 60 national awards till date.
